how do i sample each song to find the right one for my combination?

- on the list of songs, each song has a button with two orange music notes on it (to the right of the price). click on the button and a sample will be downloaded and played by your computer’s media player (itunes, realplayer, quicktime, etc.) listen to the sample clip to see if the piece is right for the combination. if the tempo is too quick or slow, listen to a piece with a lower or higher number of bpms.

how do i transfer a song to audio tape?

- after purchasing a song, you will receive a .mp3 file that contains the song. drag or copy the .mp3 file into your computer’s media player (itunes, realplayer, quicktime, etc.) burn the song to cd and then transfer the song from cd to tape with a cd/tape deck or boombox. you can also, if your tape player has an imput slot and you computer has a headphone or output slot, transfer the song by playing it on your computer while recording it right into your tape player. connect an audio cable from your computer to your tape player, let the tape player start recording and then start the song playing from your computer. it is important that your computer’s output volume is not set to high or the recording will get distorted. it might take a few tries to find the right volume setting for a good recording to tape. please read and understand the “terms” page before making any copies or transfers.
